Health and Safety Procedures
We take the Health and Safety of the Children in our care very seriously.
Below are our Health and Safety Procedures…
PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow Mobile Phones or Tablets on our Day Camps. Should your child require a phone because they walk to and from camp this must be given to the coach on arrival.
During the child’s morning briefing the coach will go through a venue specific fire drill so they know exactly what to do should the alarm sound.
On all KidzCamps UK courses there will always be a minimum of one if not two first aid trained coaches.
The Child Attendance form gives us details of any medical conditions, injuries or illnesses we need to be aware of as well as treatment options during worst case scenarios.
If your child requires any form of medication, we will record times that their medication is administered. We will also need to have a signed declaration that your child can self-administer their medication. If you require us to help with the administering of their medication we will require written consent.
Kidz Camps UK must keep records of the following and retain them for a period of two years:
The name, home address and date of birth of each child who attends
The name, home address and telephone number of a parent of each child who attends
A daily record of the names of the children attending and the hours attended
Kidz Camps UK must also keep records of the following and retain them for a period of two years:
Accidents which involve the children and occur on the premises
Any medicine administered to any child, including the date, circumstances, and who administered it.
Kidz Camps UK have a Child Protection Policy which you can download below;
